2008 Ford Mustang and 2016 Ford Fusion car crash on Warm Springs on October 24

A 53-year old driver of a 2008 Ford Mustang passed way from his injuries after a car accident on October 24. The police report that the man tried to turn left on Warm Springs Road at Valle Verde Drive but failed to yield to an approaching 2016 Ford Fusion.

The driver of the Fusion is a 28-year-old and had the right of way. The Mustang pulled in front of her and was struck, which caused the Mustang to spin out into a 2012 Hyundai Elantra waiting at the red light on Valle Verde Drive, creating a three-car accident.

Traffic was diverted for over three hours while the scene was investigated by police. This is the 11th fatality from a traffic incident in 2018.
